Dear St Barnabas, You are much in my prayers as you begin this new season in your life as a Eucharistic community. My own church experienced 2 incumbents seceding to Rome so I know how tough it is to rebuild the life of a congregation. When I arrived as parish priest in 2001 I would count your Ash Wednesday congregation as a very good Sunday number so I think your future is rosy!
Every blessing as you start up again; Jesus reminds us that when we feel poorest that’s when God is able to bless us most richly. Mass will be said for you here this week.
