Welcome back from Easter. I hope you had a good Easter break.

Here are this terms craft activities. Please note that there is no Barnababies on 2nd May due to local elections.

Palm Sunday Clothes Peg Donkey

This week we had great fun at Sunday School making simple to create Palm Sunday Donkeys. It was a lovely activity which captivated all our children from ages 2 to 11 and instigated lots of role play with the finished models.

While the children set about colouring their donkeys’ blankets, we talked about what happened on Palm Sunday, when they had last heard about someone riding on a donkey (Mary!) and what would be happening in the coming week.

Pilgrimage to the Anglican Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham

Saturday 11th May 2013 Departing at 7:30am from St Barnabas
Sunday 12th May 2013 Returning by 10:00 pm to St Barnabas

Adult Cost: approx £54.00 TBC
Child Cost: approx £32.40 TBC

The St Barnabas’ Church annual pilgrimage to the Shrine of our Lady of Walsingham will take place from Saturday 11th to Sunday 12th of May. The pilgrimage provides a wonderful opportunity for profound spiritual enrichment in the context of this small Norfolk village that has been a pilgrimage destination since the 11th Century.
